  Enroute to Alaska, I had a tire pressure problem on the drive axle and the valve was hard to get to. I pulled in and 5 men were working on a large tire problem. They were quick to stop and recognize me with a friendly greeting and the supervisor quickly got someone to resolve my issue. It was the sincere "Welcome and how can we help' and then the immediate work to correct the problem which did take awhile. It was a great experience and thanks to all!!!

  After looking around town for winter tires at the other big players, I decided to give Kal a shot, since I had never dealt with this company before. The fellow who was helping me ACTUALLY helped me. He gave me a quote on two sets of tires, the lowest price of which was at the top of my budget. I told him this, so he did a bit of searching and said that he could get me the same tires in a slightly different size (the same overall circumference so the speedo wouldn't be affected) for almost $300 less than the original quote. Turned out that those tires didn't get shipped because of a mix up, so I had to wait an extra 5 days to get tires, but because of the mix up he got me an upgrade in tire quality!

  Made the mistake of taking my BMW into KalTire in Smithers to have new tires put on. Once it was done they pulled it up outside, it was raining so I didn't look to hard at the tires. What I did notice when I got in was the large muddy boot prints on my carpet and the fingerprints all over my glove box. Once I got home to my garage I had a closer look, my right rear rim was gouged a quarter way around. Wouldn't recommend taking anything remotely nice there.

  Got a flat tire right before they closed, but they stayed open long enough for us to come in and get it fixed. Came in a few days later to get tires balanced and still remembered who we were. Fantastic people and service
